Dr. Patel has always been a big “people person” who loves interacting with others, both on a personal and a professional level. He was drawn to dentistry because it seemed so hands-on while also giving him the opportunity to inspire smiles! Today, he is passionate about dentures in particular because of the way they can provide newfound cosmetic appeal and oral function in record time to those in need. He can’t imagine doing anything else for his career!
In 1995, after completing his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from Louisiana State University-Shreveport, Dr. Patel entered the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans to pursue his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). Following graduation, he completed a one-year hospital-based residency (GPR) at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Biloxi, MS.
